Tahunanui Rocky Shore and Beach Trip

On Monday the 7th of March the Middle Team went by bus to Tahuna Beach.
First we worked with Mr Science making solar ovens and cooking saveloys.
After that we went down to the beach and the children had a swim in the sea.
Later we ate lunch and then walked to the rock pools with Richard de Hamil who
taught the children about the sea creatures they would find in the rock pools.
The children spent time exploring the rock pools and found many interesting creatures.
After a fantastic day at the beach we caught the bus back to school.
